The zootechnical farm operates in a disadvantaged mountain area and for the conservation of the forage, both ensiling in round bales and bulk storage in a hay tower with dryer is practiced.

For this reason, three machines were purchased with support from the EAFRD.

Krone F155XC variable chamber round baler equipped with air braking for greater safety on slopes, 17-blade cutting unit for more compact bales and reduction of net and film costs. This machine allows you to vary the diameter of the bales: small on sloping terrain or large on flat terrain.

On sloping land the forage is collected dried and loose; for this reason the company purchased a GRUBER LT300 self-loading wagon with a low center of gravity and hydraulic braking system suitable for steep terrain.

For cutting and other forage cultivation operations, an AEBI TT211 tool-carrying tractor with a low center of gravity and wide track was purchased, equipped with a particulate filter.

The purpose of this investment is not only the use of more modern machines, but also and above all greater safety and a better working environment.

An expense of 100,864.00 euros was admitted for this operation, with the relative contribution granted by the EAFRD amounting to 30,259.20 euros.

Beautiful structure, clean and cozy rooms complete with everything. We had a room on the first floor with a beautiful view. Clean and very nice wellness center. We also visited the adjoining farm. Very good breakfast and their very good products. Recommended!
